Ineligibility & Testing Standards

  • ISSB Rejections: Candidates rejected twice by ISSB are ineligible (exceptions apply for specific post-graduate technical entries).

  • Screening Restrictions: Candidates screened out twice at ISSB during preliminary stages or tested within 120 days (4 months) of their last ISSB attempt cannot reapply.

  • Appearing Students: Candidates awaiting final year F.Sc results can apply if they scored at least 70% in Part-I and submit a Hope Certificate signed by their institution principal.

  • Attestation & Equivalence: O/A-Level certificate holders must provide an equivalence certificate issued by IBCC.

  • Medical Clearance: Final selection depends on medical clearance by the Central Medical Board (CMB) at Lahore followed by physical fitness tests.

 

Step-by-Step Online Registration & Test Process

  1. Online Form Submission:

    • Visit the official portal at www.joinpaf.gov.pk.

    • Select your desired course/branch and enter your NADRA Smart Card / CNIC details.

    • Fill out the form carefully and print your Registration Slip showing your assigned test date, time, and Information & Selection Centre (I&SC) venue.

  2. Documents to Carry for Initial E-Testing:

    • Original Educational Certificates & Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs).

    • Original NADRA Smart Card / CNIC (along with Father's CNIC).

    • 04 passport-sized photographs (blue background).

    • One complete set of attested photocopies of all educational credentials.

  3. Selection Phases:

    • Phase 1: Online Intelligence Test followed by Academic Subject Tests (Physics, Maths, English, etc.) via computer-based e-testing.

    • Phase 2: Initial Medical Checkup and Physical Standards Verification at PAF I&SC.

    • Phase 3: Initial Interview at selection centers.

    • Phase 4: ISSB Testing & Evaluation (for shortlisted candidates).

    • Phase 5: Final Medical Board (CMB Lahore) and Air Headquarters merit list creation.
